Overview:

We are seeking an experienced C++ developer to lead the development of a legacy software application. As a key member of the software lifecycle, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the application using C++ and MFC with Oracle database.

You will diagnose and fix software defects, ensuring the stability and reliability of the application. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle databases, experience working with SQL, PL/SQL, and database design, and proficiency in debugging, profiling, and optimizing C++ applications.

In addition, you should have experience with source control systems, such as Git or SVN, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in software development using C++ with a strong emphasis on MFC
  • Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
