Detailed Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Database Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ETL concepts and data warehouse testing methodologies.

  • Background in Data Migration Testing with expertise in source-to-target validation, record count verification, data integrity and validation, transformation logic and job run verification is required.
  • Experience in system integration and functional testing across sprints/iterations is also necessary.
  • Able to create, review, and execute detailed test cases based on business and technical requirements is essential.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Requirement analysis and work effort estimation is crucial.
  • Quality management: defect identification, root cause analysis, corrective measures are also important.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to collaborate effectively are a must.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience automating data testing using AI/ML tools would be beneficial.
  • CI/CD pipeline integration for test automation is also desirable.
