The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee and manage our warehouse operations and client service functions. This role will be responsible for optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring excellent service delivery, and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations Management:
    • Oversight of daily operations across multiple warehouses, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
    • Development and implementation of processes to enhance inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and stock turnover.
    • Monitoring and management of operational KPIs (e.g., inventory accuracy, order cycle time, and on-time dispatch).
    • Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.
    • Coordination with cross-functional teams (transport, IT, procurement) for seamless operations.
    • Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives using lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Client Service & Relationship Management:
    • Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring service excellence.
    • Development of tailored solutions to address client requirements and improve service levels.
    • Management of service-level agreements (SLAs) and proactive identification of areas for improvement.
    • Driving client satisfaction through consistent communication and issue resolution.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of operations supervisors and warehouse staff.
    • Fostering a high-performance culture with a focus on training and development.
    • Conducting regular performance evaluations and implementing action plans for improvement.
  • Operational Planning & Strategy:
    • Development and execution of short- and long-term operational strategies aligned with business goals.
    • Management of operational budgets and control of costs while maintaining service quality.
    • Utilization of data-driven decision-making to drive operational efficiency.
  • Technology & Innovation:
    • Leveraging warehouse management systems (WMS) and other digital tools to enhance operations.
    • Staying updated on industry best practices and recommending new technologies or processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in warehouse operations or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of 3PL, CFA, and supply chain services.
  • Experience managing warehouse management systems (WMS) and related technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and exceed service-level expectations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics.
