Job Summary:

Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As an experienced data professional, you will be responsible for designing and building robust, scalable, and high-quality data pipelines that support analytics and reporting needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, architecture, and governance. They will also possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Pipeline Design & Development: Design and build efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines using various tools and technologies.
  2. Cloud Platform Engineering: Develop and maintain cloud-based platforms to support data processing, storage, and analytics.
  3. Data Modeling & Architecture: Design and implement data models and architectures to meet business requirements.
  4. Data Governance & Security: Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data governance policies and procedures.
  5. Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Work collaboratively with data scientists, analysts, and platform engineers to deliver high-quality data products and services.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of data engineering or design experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one other programming language (e.g., R, Python, C++, Minitab, SAS, Matlab, VBA).
  • Knowledge of optimization engines such as CPLEX or Gurobi.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps and ML Ops.
  • Agile/Scrum operating experience using Azure DevOps.
