Cloud Engineering Manager

 

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Manager to lead our team of cloud specialists. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions.

 

  • Lead multiple customer-driven cloud engineering projects focusing on delivering solutions utilizing cloud engineering, DevOps, and embedded systems.
  • Oversee project timelines, scope, and resources ensuring projects are delivered with high quality and meet client expectations.
  • Recruit, onboard, and lead a team of specialists in software development, cloud solutions, and embedded systems ensuring optimal team composition and performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the team.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge in the latest cloud technologies.
  • Implement best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps to enhance infrastructure and application deployment strategies specific to cloud environments.
  • Guide the team in adopting new technologies and methodologies to improve project outcomes.
  • Work closely with technical leads to ensure architectural and operational requirements are integrated into project plans.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders managing expectations and ensuring clear communication of project progress.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients understanding their needs and converting them into project goals and deliverables.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify project risks and dependencies implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with industry standards and regulations particularly those specific to cloud computing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in project management within the IT and cloud sectors with a focus on cloud engineering, DevOps, and embedded systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure including but not limited to cloud security, IoT, and network security.
  • Proficient in agile project management tools and methodologies.
