Job Title: Core Architect

We are seeking an exceptional professional to lead the development of our core services, data ingestion, normalization, matching, and real-time scoring. As a Founding Engineer, you will be responsible for owning zero-to-one product and platform decisions, writing production code, and establishing engineering practices that define our company's DNA.

The ideal candidate will have 2-8+ years of experience building production systems, with strength in at least two of backend (Node/TypeScript, Go, or Python), data engineering (Kafka/SQS, Airflow, Spark), storage (Postgres/OLAP/Snowflake), distributed systems, or API/platform engineering. They should also possess solid cloud fundamentals (AWS/GCP/Azure), containers (Docker/K8s), infra-as-code, monitoring, and testing skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and build core services: data ingestion, normalization, matching, and real-time scoring.
  • Create clean, well-documented APIs used by US fintechs and enterprise data teams.
  • Own end-to-end features from product discovery and architecture to testing, observability, and deployment.
  • Stand up a reliable data stack (streaming + batch), with strong SLAs and cost awareness.
  • Set engineering standards (code quality, security, CI/CD, on-call) and influence the product roadmap.
  • Work directly with customers to validate use cases and iterate quickly based on feedback.
Requirements:
  • 2–8+ years building production systems (we're flexible for exceptional folks).
  • Strength in at least two  of: backend (Node/TypeScript, Go, or Python), data engineering (Kafka/SQS, Airflow, Spark), storage (Postgres/OLAP/Snowflake), distributed systems, or API/platform engineering.
