Job Title:

Electrical Technical Design Leader

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned technical design leader to oversee the development of dry type and cast resin transformer designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive design strategies for electrical and mechanical disciplines, aligning with business objectives and innovation priorities.
  • Promote the adoption of advanced design technologies, including automation, AI/ML, and digital twins, across all design functions.
  • Establish design governance to ensure compliance with international standards, quality, and sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate with R&D and executive leadership to guide product development and integrate new technologies.
  • Oversee standardization and optimization efforts to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness in electrical and mechanical designs.
  • Manage project prioritization, resource allocation, and timely delivery of high-quality design outputs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvements in design processes.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and technical specialists.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 10-12 years of proven design experience in dry type or cast resin transformers.
  • Advanced knowledge of transformer design, power systems engineering, and digital design tools.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to connect design execution with business outcomes.
  • Strong project and portfolio management skills.
