Job Position: Financial Analyst

About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and proposal review.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and be able to analyze complex data to provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities
  1. Financial Analysis and Budgeting:
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Proposal Review and Pricing Modelling:
  • Review and analyze proposals to determine pricing and profitability.
  • Develop pricing models to ensure accuracy and fairness.
Contract Review and Recognition of Revenue:
  • Review contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Recognize revenue accurately and in a timely manner.
Providing revenue projections and reports on unbilled, unearned, and other revenue parameters:
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial models.
  • Provide regular reporting on revenue performance to stakeholders.
Creation of projects in the OTR systems and Invoicing:
  • Create new projects in the OTR system to ensure accurate tracking and billing.
  • Invoice clients promptly and accurately.
Support to Delivery, Sales, Ops, and other teams on revenue-related issues:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on revenue-related matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve revenue-related issues.
Ensuring direct tax compliances for India and mitigating tax risks for the company:
  • Stay up-to-date on all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate tax risks.
Monitoring transfer pricing arrangements and advising on tax applicability and structuring of deals:
  • Monitor transfer pricing arrangements to ensure compliance.
  • Advise on tax applicability and deal structuring.
Handling tax audits to ensure full adherence to regulatory compliance:
  • Coordinate with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Ensure full adherence to regulatory compliance.
Highlighting ideas on structuring tax-related costs for the company to reduce its effective tax cost without hindering compliance and providing inputs for decision-making:
  • Identify opportunities to reduce tax costs without compromising compliance.
  • Develop and present recommendations to senior management.

The candidate will be given an opportunity to learn core accounting processes, compliances, and will be part of a large global finance operations Center of Excellence. The candidate will be working in any of the following critical areas:

  • Accounting operations, which include Procure-to-Pay, Capex and Opex accounting and controls, Expense analytics, provision controls, GL scrutiny, Monthly and Quarterly Book Closures, Schedule reviews, Internal controls, and Audit Closures
  • Compliances, which include Payroll Operations, Controls across globe, ESOP RSUs, PF, Superannuation, Managing Trusts, and Financial Compliances - payroll and SEZ STP
