Financial Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Financial Operations Specialist to join our finance team on an initial 6-month contract, with a clear path to a full-time role based on performance. This is a high-responsibility position ideal for candidates with 3–4 years of accounting experience who are ready to take ownership of end-to-end finance operations.

  • Recording and posting financial transactions in Tally
  • Performing bank and vendor reconciliations
  • Managing GST, TDS, and other tax compliance filings and payments
  • Maintaining general ledgers and ensuring accurate reconciliations
  • Overseeing cash management
  • Handling payroll processing and salary administration
  • Ensuring compliance and internal financial controls
  • Managing vendor payments and maintaining related documentation
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements for internal/external reviews
  • Supporting audit processes with required documentation

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Financial Transaction Management: The candidate will be responsible for recording, posting, and reconciling financial transactions in Tally.
  • Reconciliation and Compliance: The candidate will perform bank and vendor reconciliations, manage GST, TDS, and other tax compliance filings and payments, and maintain general ledgers.
  • Cash Management: The candidate will oversee cash management, handle payroll processing, and ensure compliance and internal financial controls.
  • Documentation and Reporting: The candidate will assist in the preparation of financial statements for internal/external reviews and support audit processes with required documentation.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 3-4 years of accounting experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Office Suite
