Job Position: Performance and Monitoring Expert

We are seeking a skilled professional to spearhead the development and maintenance of observability systems ensuring efficient monitoring and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement scalable observability systems including Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, and Dynatrace to enhance system performance.
  • Write scripts in Python, Shell, or PowerShell to automate tasks and streamline system operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement modern observability practices such as SRE, SLI/SLO, Synthetic, APM, and RUM.
  • Work with CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and others to ensure smooth deployment and testing processes.
  • Understand and apply ITIL frameworks and tools to manage incidents and service requests.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system and Agile framework tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with backup and resilience setup including High Availability and Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Understanding of distributed systems concepts and RedHat Linux administration.
  • Basic knowledge of Ansible and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms preferably IBM Cloud.
