Job Title: Cybersecurity Professional

We are seeking a skilled cybersecurity expert to safeguard our systems, networks, and data from internal and external threats.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will design and implement security solutions, monitor for vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents to ensure maximum system integrity and data protection.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Security Solutions Design and Implementation: Protect against cyber threats using firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, proxies, and endpoint protection.
  • System Monitoring and Vulnerability Detection: Identify potential security breaches and investigate violations using SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, and forensic tools.
  • Risk Analysis and Penetration Testing: Perform risk analysis and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in our systems and applications.
  • Incident Response and Management: Lead incident response activities, including root cause analysis and remediation, to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure systems, applications, and network configurations comply with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security best practices and secure SDLC, and conduct security awareness training for staff and developers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Solid understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, proxies, and endpoint protection.
  • Proficiency with SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, and forensic tools.
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Strong understanding of network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or GSEC.
  • Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and container security (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
