Job Title: Financial Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical Financial Reporting Specialist to support the generation and analysis of critical financial reports. This role is essential for providing timely insights into project forecast accuracy.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Sourcing & Preparation: Extract, transform, and prepare financial data from various source systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency for reporting.
  • Report Development: Design, build, and maintain comprehensive financial variance reports.
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of financial data, identify variances, and support reconciliation efforts.
  • Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with project managers and other teams to understand reporting needs, provide insights, and ensure reports facilitate effective decision-making.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets from financial systems.
  • Expertise in data extraction and manipulation using SQL.
  • Strong experience developing reports with MicroStrategy.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts, forecasting, and project accounting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
