We are seeking a seasoned Microstrategy Developer to join our team and contribute their expertise in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-performing MicroStrategy Dashboards, Dossiers, Reports, and Documents.

As the successful candidate will be responsible for managing MicroStrategy environments, including upgrade strategies and security considerations, your ability to work collaboratively with the IT infrastructure team will be crucial to our success.

Key requirements include a strong understanding of Administration tools like MicroStrategy Object Manager, MicroStrategy Command Manager, and MicroStrategy Enterprise Manager, as well as experience in creating MicroStrategy schemas and application objects such as attributes, metrics, prompts, filters, templates.

A good working knowledge of SQL and advanced features such as drilling, filtering, and dynamic content is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have the ability to optimize MicroStrategy performance by fine-tuning queries, optimizing data storage, and implementing best practices for data modelling and schema design.

In addition to these technical skills, the successful candidate will be required to provide training and support to end users and business analysts on MicroStrategy functionality, data modelling concepts, and best practices for data visualization and analysis.

  • A strong background in writing SQL and knowledge of SQL Server databases;
  • Advanced filters, conditional formatting, transformation, and level metrics;
  • Defining relationships between attributes, facts, and other objects within MicroStrategy;
  • Designing and developing interactive dashboards and visualizations in MicroStrategy.
