Program Management Opportunity

This role presents a unique chance for an experienced Program Manager to lead and implement projects with significant impact.

The selected individual will serve as the central team point of contact for interventions in Haryana, requiring strong leadership skills to ensure successful project implementation and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the single point of contact for critical project decisions across states.
  • Managing stakeholders, including senior officials, funders, partners, and state governments to achieve project outcomes.
  • Monitoring project timelines, progress, risks, dependencies, and delegating responsibilities effectively.
  • Developing strategic and short-term project plans, utilizing tools for monitoring progress and managing escalations.

Cross-functional collaboration is essential for success in this role, involving teams to ensure sufficient backend support and internal alignment within Haryana initiatives.

Data analysis plays a crucial role in identifying trends across multiple state programs, contributing to organizational learning.

Documentation of program activities, monitoring data, developing case studies, and compiling evidence of outcomes are also key aspects of this position.

In addition, reviewing expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets and implementing an effective Monitoring and Evaluation system in collaboration with the M&E team are vital responsibilities.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in program management, preferably with exposure to managing projects involving senior government functionaries.
  • Proficiency in data monitoring and analysis, with a strong ability to interpret and utilize data to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and execute strategic and short-term project plans.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Hindi, including the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels.
