Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and own private brand business strategies, aligning with company objectives.
  2. Build expertise in warehousing and logistics to streamline supply chain operations.
  3. Analyze international markets to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  4. Lead the sourcing process from initial contact to delivery, ensuring quality control, cost-effectiveness, and optimal MOQ.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external partners to raise purchase orders, manage supply timelines, and drive timely deliveries.
  6. Monitor and analyze profit and loss statements, ensuring alignment with business strategy and making adjustments as needed.
  7. Evaluate and enhance supplier relationships, improving vendor experience and product offerings.
  8. Partner with suppliers to plan events and promotions, leveraging their support to drive sales growth.
  9. Assess long-term growth opportunities, risks, and communicate findings to internal and cross-functional teams.
  10. Support the Category Manager in hiring and developing the team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sourcing, preferably in sports, furniture/home, or kitchen products.
  • Proven track record in retail buying, planning & allocation, product management, project management, pricing, and marketing.
  • Proficiency in Excel and sharp analytical skills, with a deep understanding of sales data analytics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with a history of delivering cross-functional projects.
