Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Pension Calculator Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex pension calculations.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development of our pension platform, which provides critical services to clients worldwide. As a Pension Calculator Specialist, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pension calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and test pension benefit calculations
  • Analyze requirements from user specifications or benefit specifications
  • Develop accurate estimates for the scope of work
  • Maintain professional, technical, and commercially aware approach to delivery
  • Analyze changes and enhancements to client pensions schemes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in actuarial and/or pension calculations
  • Understanding of UK pensions arrangements
  • Technical/Software development aptitude & ability
  • Experience in configuration and/or testing of calculations in respect of UK pension administration platforms and systems
  • Able to understand basic data schema models
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL scripts in SQL or Oracle environment
  • Ability to build calculation solutions using MS Excel and ASPOSE
  • Qualifications in financial services or IT environment
  • Experience in the Pensions Industry as a Scheme Administrator or Business Analyst
