Sr. Admission Counselor Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Admission Counselor to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving course enrollments through effective lead handling, strategic communication, and team leadership. This includes handling daily inbound and outbound calls from leads provided by the marketing team, counseling students and working professionals about course details, career outcomes, and enrollment process, building conversion strategies to turn inquiries into confirmed admissions, achieving and exceeding monthly sales/admission targets, leading, supporting, and mentoring a small sales team to ensure daily productivity, tracking and reporting daily performance via CRM/dashboards, and coordinating with marketing and academic teams for smoother operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Handling and Communication: Effectively handle daily inbound and outbound calls from leads provided by the marketing team.
  • Counseling and Enrollment: Counsel students and working professionals about course details, career outcomes, and enrollment process.
  • Conversion Strategies: Build conversion strategies to turn inquiries into confirmed admissions.
  • Sales and Target Achievement: Achieve and exceed monthly sales/admission targets.
  • Team Leadership and Support: Lead, support, and mentor a small sales team to ensure daily productivity.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Track and report daily performance via CRM/dashboards.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with marketing and academic teams for smoother operations.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have at least 13 years of experience in EdTech/B2C inside sales/counseling, strong communication and closing skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu, a self-motivated and target-driven attitude, leadership qualities to guide junior team members, and basic knowledge of CRM tools, Sheets, and call tracking systems.
