Job Description

As the Senior Director of Product Design, you will be responsible for leading our design team and shaping the future of our company through intuitive and powerful solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, with expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

This is an exceptional opportunity to build and lead a team of talented product designers, setting a vision for user experience across our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data scientists, to ensure designs meet user needs and push the boundaries of what is possible with AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Strategy: Define and drive the holistic design vision for our products, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience across internal and external applications.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Customer-Facing Influence: Engage in early client and presales discussions to shape design strategy, translating needs into actionable insights.
  • Design Ops: Establish and streamline design operations to improve support scale, consistency, collaboration, efficiency, and quality across teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company.
  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with a track record of using data to inform design decisions.
