Data Engineer plays a key role in designing, developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines. With strong experience in building data pipelines and proficiency in using Spark SQL, DataFrame and RDD APIs, you will implement complex business logic efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines
  • Implement ETL/ELT processes and best practices for data transformation, quality and performance optimization
  • Develop expertise in modern data engineering ecosystems, including distributed data processing, storage systems and workflow orchestration tools
  • Work with cloud services such as AWS S3, AWS Glue / EMR, AWS Lambda, Step Functions and Redshift
  • Choose and apply the right Spark APIs (DataFrame, Dataset, RDD) for performance-efficient implementation of business logic at scale
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with knowledge of data structures, algorithms and software engineering principles
  • Hands-on expertise in building scalable data pipelines using PySpark
  • Proficiency in using Spark SQL, DataFrame and RDD APIs to implement complex business logic
  • Familiarity with the current data engineering landscape, including distributed data processing, storage systems and workflow orchestration tools

About Data Engineering Role: Our ideal candidate is a skilled data engineer who has hands-on experience with PySpark and can design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines. The role involves working with various cloud services such as AWS S3, AWS Glue / EMR, AWS Lambda, Step Functions and Redshift to optimize data transformation, quality and performance.

Bonus Skills: Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop and NoSQL databases like Cassandra would be an added advantage.
