System Architect

 

A seasoned system architect is required to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and best practices.

 

  • Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage buckets, virtual private clouds, relational databases, and serverless functions.
  • Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-prem resources.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Administer company software platforms, ensuring user productivity.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and support application deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers and team members.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (e.g., ECS, EKS) is a plus.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and routing.
