Lead PHP Developer Position

A high-level technical position responsible for overseeing the development team in delivering high-quality software solutions using PHP as the primary programming language.

Key Responsibilities:
  • PHP Development: Strong understanding of core PHP and object-oriented programming principles, including design patterns and best practices.
  • Code Igniter (CI 1 & 4): Experience working with both legacy (CI 1) and modern (CI 4) versions of the Code Igniter framework, ensuring seamless integration and code quality.
  • Python Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, applied to backend services and API integrations.
  • Database Administration: Hands-on experience in designing, optimizing, and managing MySQL databases, focusing on performance tuning and scalability.
  • Javascript Development: Solid knowledge of Javascript for both client-side functionality and integration with backend services, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Code Review: Experience in performing peer code reviews, ensuring code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Unit Testing: Familiarity with writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code reliability and regression prevention, facilitating bug-free deployments.
  • Version Control: Proficient with Git for version control, branching, and collaborative development, leveraging its power for efficient project management.
  • API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs for both consuming and creating endpoints, guaranteeing smooth data exchange.
  • Performance Optimization: Understanding of performance tuning on both frontend and backend, identifying bottlenecks and devising solutions to mitigate them.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products that meet business requirements and user needs.
