As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing credit underwriting and portfolio risk management across multiple locations within the assigned region.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Credit Underwriting & Policy Implementation: Ensure loan proposals adhere to credit policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory guidelines. Assess financials, income stability, and property-related risks before approving or recommending loans.
- Portfolio Risk Management: Monitor the regional loan portfolio and identify early warning signals for potential NPAs. Work closely with collection teams to minimize delinquencies and optimize recovery strategies.
- Team Management & Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead and mentor location credit managers to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Conduct training sessions for sales and credit teams to strengthen underwriting standards and fraud control measures.
- Compliance & Audit Readiness: Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, regulatory norms (RBI, NHB, etc.), and audit requirements. Maintain documentation standards to ensure smooth internal and external audits.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies to refine credit policies. Identify new opportunities and risk challenges specific to the regional market.
**Requirements**
- Strong understanding of LAP & Affordable Housing Loan underwriting.
