Job Title: Senior Automation Test Engineer

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our automation testing efforts.
  • The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in automation testing and a strong understanding of software development life cycles.
  • They will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
  • The successful candidate will also have expertise in Rest API testing and manual testing methodologies.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
  2. Maintain and update existing test scripts to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  3. Collaborate with development teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  4. Develop and execute manual tests to validate system functionality.
  5. Work closely with QA engineers to ensure that all testing efforts are aligned and efficient.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles.
  • Proficiency in Java and Selenium.
  • Experience with Rest API testing.
  • Manual testing methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
