Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining both UI and backend automation tests, ensuring the highest quality standards across the application.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of QA processes, and a proven ability to be an independent contributor who can unblock themselves and peers. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in mentoring junior team members, ensuring best practices in testing, and collaborating effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for both UI and backend using Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Postman, and Cucumber frameworks.
  2. Develop, enhance, and refactor automation frameworks to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reusability.
  3. Write and maintain test cases that cover functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly analyze complex issues and resolve them independently.
  • Ability to debug, isolate, and fix issues in both test code and application code.
  • Experience in performance testing, stress testing, and identifying potential bottlenecks.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
