Job Title: Emerging Markets Operations Specialist

  • Own the servicing of orders for regional sales teams in a timely manner, ensuring all customer service requirements are met.
  • Validate demand over the horizon and assign prioritization to orders/customers based on defined parameters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate demand with purchase orders, letters of credit, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, and other relevant factors to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Monitor and analyze order status in our systems to identify potential issues that may affect timelines.
  • Gather information on scheduling, material receipt, and dispatch schedules to facilitate efficient order processing.
  • Highlight potential bottlenecks or issues that may impact defined timelines and work closely with stakeholders to mitigate risks.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of assigned orders for the region, ensuring timely resolution of issues and delivery of high-quality results.
  • Drive documentation related to shipments with carrier freight teams and collaborate with logistics teams to optimize shipment planning and minimize delays.
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss open orders, their status updates, and gather feedback from concerned stakeholders.
  • Identify issues requiring escalation to cross-functional teams and provide recommendations for timely resolutions.
  • Prioritize orders/customers based on defined parameters and engage key stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.

Supply Chain Technology and Automation:

  • Identify opportunities for implementing IT and automation in Order Management processes to improve Supply Chain visibility.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to drive implementation and rollout cycles for technology automations within SCM.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting (VBA macros, Power BI).
  • Good understanding of Supply Chain principles, preferably in Pharma.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills; ability to prioritize tasks dynamically.
  • Negotiation skills/Conflict resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand and work around constraints.
  • Plant PPIC concepts clarity, prior experience essential.
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills. They will also have good understanding with experience of Supply Chain essential, preferably in Pharma.
