Site Reliability Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technology organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and monitor systems that meet the needs of our business. You will identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement SRE strategy to reduce toil and improve operational efficiency
  • Develop methodologies for automation and elimination of inefficient processes
  • Assist in developing service metrics and actionable plans for improvement
  • Implement SLOs for critical services, design monitoring strategies, and conduct capacity planning
  • Perform chaos engineering exercises, lead architectural reviews, and drive continuous improvement from incidents

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in SRE role, with practical experience defining and implementing Service Level Objectives
  • Experience with monitoring and observability technologies, cloud platforms, and infrastructure as code principles
  • Comprehensive understanding of SRE principles, working knowledge of modern observability tooling, and extensive knowledge of configuration management solutions
