Enterprise Big Data Engineer

Are you a skilled big data engineer looking for a challenging opportunity? We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Big Data Engineer to join our team.

  • This is a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part of a team building a next-generation platform using big data and micro-services technology.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting a highly scalable, distributed SaaS-based security risk prioritization product. You will work with a talented team of engineers and architects to deliver roadmap features and ensure the quality of architecture and design of systems.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in big data technologies, including Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Presto. Experience with cloud technology and containerization is also highly desirable.

Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure big data clusters to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software applications that integrate with existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies and make recommendations for integration into our platform.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development.
  • 4+ years of experience in big data technologies, including Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Presto.
  • Experience with cloud technology and containerization.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
