Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal support to various agencies across South Asia, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and safeguarding commercial interests.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify legal risks and issues across a broad spectrum of legal areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support and guidance on employment law matters, including internal investigations and related processes.
  • Manage and oversee litigation and arbitration matters, including civil, criminal, labour, property, and commercial disputes.
  • Draft, negotiate, and advise on medium to high complexity commercial agreements, ensuring the most advantageous legal and commercial terms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (6-8 years post-qualification experience as an in-house lawyer or in law firms).
  • Experience in the Media & Entertainment or Information Technology industry is an advantage.

Desirable Skills:

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage complex tasks and deliver under pressure.
