We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will design and develop new products using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD from concept to production release.
  • They will collaborate with various departments to ensure the designed products meet feasibility, cost, and functionality requirements.
  • This role involves leading design reviews, capturing feedback, and iterating to improve performance and user value by utilizing tools like FEA/CFD/motion analysis and prototype testing.
  • The Product Development Specialist will create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, GD&T, BOMs, and manufacturing specifications for the designed products.

Key Responsibilities:

The Product Development Specialist will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and designing innovative products using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product development and launch.
  3. Conducting design reviews and ensuring that products meet customer needs and expectations.
  4. Staying current on industry trends and technologies to continuously improve product design and development processes.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Proficiency in CAD software and experience working with simulation tools and design optimization methods.
  • A strong background in heavy equipment manufacturing or a related field.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
