Job Summary:

A Senior Financial Risk Evaluator plays a pivotal role in assessing and mitigating financial risks for large corporate clients. This involves creating comprehensive credit appraisal notes, engaging in discussions with business stakeholders to determine terms and conditions, and monitoring accounts based on established sanctioning authority guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of detailed credit appraisal notes for large corporate clients
  • Collaboration with business stakeholders to discuss risk assessments and terms and conditions
  • Collecting customer information to prepare accurate credit reports
  • Regularly monitoring accounts according to sanctioning authority guidelines
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly monitoring reports for the portfolio
  • Raising non-compliances through action plans
  • Conducting site visits and submitting inspection reports
  • Managing escalations related to risk assessments

Requirements:

  • Experience in credit underwriting for SMEs or large corporate clients
  • Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling
  • Preference given to experience in project finance and/or infrastructure sector credit analysis but not mandatory
  • CA, MBA, or CFA qualification
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
