We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.

Job Description

This role involves continuously evaluating the performance of Elasticsearch and Splunk clusters, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions to optimize cost-vs-performance position. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and build effective partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the health and performance of Elasticsearch clusters in various environments.
  • Develop and implement solutions to optimize cost-vs-performance position using declarative tools like Puppet and scripting mechanisms.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and be willing to jump on escalated issues as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline required.
  • Expertise in administration and management of Elasticsearch clusters.
  • Strong knowledge in provisioning and configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible, Rundeck, etc.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Prometheus, PagerDuty, etc.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, Go, Ruby, Perl, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Pipelines, Artifactory, etc.
