Engineering Talent Development Initiative

We are seeking to hire a dynamic engineering intern who will work closely with our Technical Transformation Team to support key functions, including Campaigns, Political Intelligence, and Research.

The selected candidate will participate in a comprehensive 2-month training program designed to bridge the gap between engineering and politics.

  • They will engage in intensive workshops on advanced Python, JavaScript, database management (SQL/NoSQL), and operational security best practices.
  • Attend seminars on the current political landscape, campaign structures, legislative processes, and data ethics in policy.
  • Analyse relevant public datasets (e.g., election data, legislative records) to identify trends and produce actionable insights.
  • Develop a Capstone Project, such as creating an analytical dashboard to visualize complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Translate complex technical findings into clear, concise policy memos and presentations.
  • Collaborate with and shadow full-time team members, contributing directly to ongoing, high-impact projects.
