Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Application Packager. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical expertise in packaging applications and delivering them efficiently to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a single point of contact for handling customer requirements related to application packaging.
  • Work on Windows 7/8/10 migration projects involving application packaging and testing, with a focus on utilizing Admin Studio/Install Shield for efficient packaging.
  • Develop and apply expertise in scripting languages like VB/WMI, Batch Scripting, PowerShell, and the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit.
  • Apply knowledge of application testing and remediation techniques to produce compatible applications for Windows 7/8.
  • Possess proficiency in tools like ACT 5.6.
  • Demonstrate expertise with VMware Workstation/Oracle Virtual Box for virtual builds.
  • Stay up-to-date with packaging tools such as Wise or Admin Studio.
  • Display a thorough understanding of Windows Installer Technologies, including MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, and Standard Actions.
  • Apply expertise in Application Virtualization Technologies, particularly App-V 4.6 and 5.0.
  • Utilize troubleshooting skills using tools like FileMon/RegMon and PictureTaker.
