Oracle Fusion Financial Consultant Job Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the implementation and support of Oracle Fusion Financials modules across multiple entities. This involves identifying problems and opportunities within the organization, providing solutions that help achieve business objectives during the transformation phase, and collaborating with Finance teams, implementation partners, and IT teams to effectively implement Fusion Financials modules.

Key responsibilities include implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management. The consultant will also conduct detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for finance functions, define business requirements, and report them back to stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities include collecting and analyzing business requirements for Fusion Financials Implementation projects, writing business requirement documents and other functional and technical documentations, assisting in design, development, testing, and implementation of the fusion solution, integrating Oracle Fusion Financials with third-party applications, and providing suggestions to enhance or automate ERP applications for optimal financial performance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent education, along with at least 8 years of relevant working experience in business/information analysis with a focus on Oracle Fusion Financials. Strong integration experience with Oracle SAAS & PAAS applications and a minimum of 2 End-to-End Oracle Fusion Implementation experience are also required.

Proven working experience as a Financials Business Analyst, proficiency in Oracle Fusion Financials modules & spreadsheets, and experience working within a project-centric industry are highly desirable. Preference will be given to candidates available immediately upon accepting the offer.

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 6 months (renewable) and remote work environment. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring project deliverables meet customer specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
