Job Purpose:

As a 3DX Functional Expert at Alstom, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the Engineering domain, primarily based on Dassault Systemes ENOVIA & CATIA V6 platform. You will act as a member of the PLM control tower to ensure overall consistency.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure alignment with Métiers global business processes for Engineering documentation solutions.
  • Collect and manage demands from central Business.
  • Prepare recommendations for decisions-making at Change Control Board.
  • Maintain solution referential & design documentation.
  • Promote Alstom Core Model, by leading evolution and Ensuring its consistency.
  • Conduct pre-studies, deliver high level designs and support execution of IS&T projects.
  • Create Functional specifications and Technical specifications.
  • Define business process workflow in alignment with OOTB recommended practices.
  • Understand various OOTB capabilities and design possible customizations.
  • Construct and execute systematic test procedures for IS systems or customer usability requirements to establish compliance with design specifications.
  • Produce documents and report to evidence certification requirements.
  • Respond to user requests and issues, recording relevant information.
  • Support the deploy, define and conduct the adapted trainings.
  • Support operations teams with regards to critical incidents.
  • Analyze technology industry and business trends and determine their potential applicability at Alstom.
  • Support roll-out, ensuring that Core Model is applied.

Requirements:

  • Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology.
  • Strong knowledge and more than 7 years of experience in Dassault Systemes ENOVIA & CATIA V6 solutions on various roles.
  • Strong knowledge on Engineering business processes, from industrial companies designing and manufacturing complex products.
  • Worked for global companies either as a service provider or as a customer, ideally both roles.
  • Good communication, efficiency and ability to execute. Result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.
  • Strong leadership and business value oriented.
  • Fluent in English, eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom.
