We are seeking a talented Performance Test Engineer III to join our team.

Job Description

This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills and expertise in performance testing, monitoring tools, and cloud deployment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing performance tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of combined Java and JavaScript development and QA experience with performance tools.
  • Experience with continuous deployment tools & methodologies.
  • Strong design and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in software development, quality assurance, and testing concepts in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with JMeter or other test tools.
  • Expertise in developing and testing server, web, and mobile applications.
  • Able to troubleshoot test system issues.
  • Customer-centric focus on testing – always viewing the product from the customer's perspective.
  • Agile/Scrum environment experience.
  • Ability to learn new applications quickly, independently, and with moderate supervision.
  • Effective communication and adaptability to changing requirements.
  • Strong team and communication skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with JUnit.
Desirable Skills
  • Java, JEE.
  • Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Database technologies including Cassandra, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch.
  • Cloud/SAAS Deployment into Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure.
  • Physical and virtual Networking.
  • YML Scripting.
  • Working knowledge of performance testing and tuning.
  • Working knowledge of FMEA and integration testing.
  • DevOps tools such as Helm, Harness, Google Cloud Build, Chef, Terraform.
  • High-volume systems including a working knowledge of performance testing and tuning.
  • REST Web Services.
  • Scalable Agile environment experience.
