About the Role:

As a seasoned Data Integration Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for data integration use cases involving IBM ITX.

Your key responsibilities will include interpreting and mapping HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets to system data models and ITX transformations. You will work closely with solution architects to define interface specifications, source-to-target mappings, and validation rules.

You will prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Data Mapping Specs, and interface control documents (ICDs). Your role will also involve supporting ITX developers in translating business requirements into technical design artifacts and testable maps.

Additionally, you will conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and facilitate design walkthroughs with business and technical teams. You will collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and assist in defect triage.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical or Integration Business Analyst
  • Strong working knowledge of HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets
  • Experience working with or supporting IBM ITX (Transformation Extender) projects
  • Ability to understand and document source-to-target data mappings
  • Proficiency in analyzing flat files, XML, JSON, and CSV formats
