FP&A Consultant

Effective financial planning enables businesses to make informed decisions, navigate complexities, and drive growth. As a skilled FP&A Consultant, you will bridge the gap between financial processes and technology, providing strategic guidance to customers.

As a trusted advisor to finance teams across industries, you will lead implementations of our financial planning platform, leveraging your expertise in finance, accounting, and technology to support and guide customers throughout their onboarding and implementation journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive implementation plans for new customers, ensuring timely delivery and effective adoption of our platform.
  • Design and configure tailored financial models, templates, and reports within our platform, driving data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Establish strong relationships with client finance teams, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the onboarding process and beyond.
  • Translate complex financial concepts into practical solutions, developing scalable technology frameworks that meet clients' evolving needs.
  • Provide expert guidance on modeling approaches and reporting outputs, empowering clients to optimize their financial planning and analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with internal product and success teams to ensure seamless alignment with client goals and objectives.
  • Deliver customized training and support to client users, fostering successful adoption and maximizing the value of our platform.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and risks with precision, maintaining open communication with clients and stakeholders at all times.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients, driving long-term engagement and expansion of our platform's usage.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in FP&A, financial consulting, accounting systems, or financial software implementation.
  • Proven understanding of financial planning cycles, budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and reporting principles.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Excel, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Adaptive, or other FP&A software.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced SaaS environment, with a willingness to adapt to evolving priorities and challenges.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or PMP are highly valued but not required.
