Job Title: Cloud Native Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Native Engineering Lead to lead our team in developing cloud-native web applications. As a seasoned engineering professional, you will be responsible for guiding the development of cutting-edge cloud solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams to deliver high-quality cloud-native web applications within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Architects, Operations, and Release Management, to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop and implement best practices and coding patterns to ensure world-class solutions that are maintainable, modular, and of high code quality.
  • Mentor and grow skills and talent within the team.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction during project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 12 – 15 years related experience, of which at least 8+ years in development and 4+ years of engineering management role.
  • Experience in micro service architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful Services using languages such as Java, Node, or Go.
  • Experience working in a distributed/cloud-based environment, including continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge and experience in design and coding, with expertise in Java, J2ee technologies, and Web applications development using Java and MVC.
  • Experience managing and rolling out React Native, Android, and iOS applications, with extensive experience in Agile Scrum methodology.
