Release Train Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer to lead and manage our product delivery using agile frameworks and techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning with Agile values such as prioritizing individuals and interactions over processes and tools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and prior experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, and Jira Align.

The Release Train Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet customer needs. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for tackling complex challenges with data, and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage product delivery using agile frameworks and techniques.
  • Align with Agile values and ensure adherence to SAFe practices and behaviors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the team, ensuring transparency and alignment with solution objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree and 8-13 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe.
  • Prior experience with Agile project management tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges with data.
  • Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified SAFe Scrum Master or similar.
  • Certified SAFe RTE or similar.
  • Certified SAFe STE or similar.
