Job Title: Creative Design Professional

We are seeking an accomplished Creative Design Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in design, with expertise in creating innovative and visually appealing designs.

  • Review and extract materials in the form of Master Tooling Output (MTO) on specific projects.
  • Prepare and verify detailed production packages including 3D models.
  • Ensure that structural designers are carrying out their assigned tasks as per project schedule requirements.
  • Enhance or improve related activities or assignments to reduce cost and man-hours consumption.
  • Identify changes in client design drawings and report to direct supervisors.
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Comply with information security rules and data security measures to protect company information/intellectual properties.
  • Ability to generate complete discipline drawings with engineers' supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks within assigned projects and meet required deadlines.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Capability of making, reading, and following project schedules.
  • Coordinate and teach structural designers to ensure department-related standards are strictly followed.
  • Prepare and verify detailed production packages including 3D models.
  • Ensure structural designers are carrying out their assigned tasks as per project schedule requirements.
  • Enhance or improve related activities or assignments to reduce cost and man-hours consumption.
  • Good technical competency and ability to generate reports with status of assigned teams/tasks.
Education Qualifications:
  • Draughtsman diploma from a recognized institute.
  • Bachelor/Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience using software like Tekla and Cadmatic in a production engineering office for similar shipyards.
  • 8-12 years of experience in a similar position is mandatory.
