Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our organization in the role of Reliability Architect.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing solutions for one of our banking industry clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and improve digital products and technology services for clients and employees.
  • Apply software engineering practices to analyze user needs, develop new features, automate testing, and deploy solutions.
  • Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying digital principles and implementing functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, help resolve incidents, and remediate risks and issues.
  • Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, assist with hiring, and contribute to our engineering culture and internal communities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent focusing on code development and maintenance.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar position focused on Core banking integration area in a development role.
  • Interest in learning new technologies and practices, reusing strategic platforms and standards, evaluating options, and making decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
  • Strong communication skills, including presentations and technical writing.
  • Good knowledge of Java and relevant Java tech stack.
  • Awareness of clean coding practices and Clean Code principles.
  • Test-driven development and ability to design unit, integration, and functional tests.
  • API-first design.
  • Understanding of modern architecture and design patterns, including event-driven systems and microservices.
  • Good troubleshooting skills and hands-on DevOps experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with onsite and offshore teams during solution delivery.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly proactive team player eager to support colleagues when needed.
  • Prepared to take on responsibility for tasks and work independently.
