About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by working on performance testing of various software applications and technologies.

As a Performance Tester, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and applying performance/scalability benchmarks. You will work in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability.

You will use profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis. Additionally, you will devise and run experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply performance/scalability benchmarks.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and scalability.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks using profiling tools.
  • Evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in software testing.
  • Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, and C++.
  • Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman.
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, RESTful APIs, and performance-tuning SQL queries.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace and AppDynamics.
  • Ability to efficiently use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks.

Desirable Skills:

  • Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • SAP BTP platform optimization and its components.
