Job Summary
Automation Tester is needed to create automated scripts/suites and report test results to ensure system functionality satisfies acceptance criteria.
The successful candidate must have substantial testing work experience in Selenium / UFT.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create automated Scripts/suites and report test results to ensure that system functionality satisfies acceptance criteria.
- Designing and implementing framework for specific use case for software programs
- Review Test case and implement as per requirement - Automation Smoke/Sanity workflow
- Do all testing procedures, suggesting performance changes and preparing performance reports for the development managers.
- Participate in daily scrum meetings.
- Effective in arriving at estimates and problem solving skills
- Ability to explore new tools & improve efficiency as part of Automation
- API Testing/Automation
- Ownership of task from Initiation to completion
- Coordinate with multiple Testing teams for Capturing Functional/Regression Automation needs
- Involove in the modification of existing automation frame work in Selenium/UFT.
- Initiate Regression Testing , ensure complete coverage through Automation and execution in Multiple environments.
Required Knowledge and Skills :
- Must have skills
- 5 + years of experience in Selenium with Java (Mandatory)/ UFT
- Minimum 4 years of Experience in Test Frameworks using CI/CD, Jenkins, PipeLine, Version control with GitHub/Stash.(Mandatory)
- Custom Library development in Selenium /UFT
- Automation testing of APIs
- Ability to code around unrecognized objects and controls in Selenium/UFT
- Ability to develop custom error handling and reporting methods
- Ability to query back end and validate using a high level language such as MS SQL and PL/SQL
- Finding solutions for object Identification issues and error handling issues.
- Experience in SOAP/REST APIs
- Development skills /Experience in Java/JS
- Good to have skills :
- Working knowledge in Insurance domain
- Experience in Automation with Selenium/UFT on Duck creek/Majesco/ Insurance based applications
