Lead QA Automation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead QA Automation Specialist to join our Enterprise Technology team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing automated test scripts and plans using standard frameworks and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated test plans and cases
  • Identify and track bugs and defects
  • Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Track QA metrics
  • Report on test automation results suggesting recommendations for improvements
Requirements:
  • 6-8+ years of experience in developing QA automation
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and systems
  • Experience of writing clear and detailed test plans and cases
  • Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Detailed problem-solving skills
  • Experience of working with other development teams to ensure quality is designed in at all stages of the product lifecycle
  • Experience in mentoring teams

Must-Have Skills include experience of building automation frameworks from scratch, test automation, automated script generation in C#, deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins, API testing, and expertise in developing and maintaining automated test scripts.

Desirable Skills/Experience include running SQL queries on databases, mobile device testing, Warehouse Management Systems, supply chain planning using Blue Yonder, end-to-end supply chain management, and solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services.

Soft Skills required include excellent communication and stakeholder management, strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics) or equivalent experience. QA Certification (e.g. ISTQB) is desirable.
