Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled technical leader to oversee the central operations of our Cloudera Datalake Platform, Enterprise data warehouse Appliance, Hadoop IPDR platform services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and ensuring availability of Hadoop & Cloudera platform services with timely and accurate delivery of critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Spearheading operational excellence initiatives and enforcing compliance with IT service level agreements (SLAs) is key to this role.

Demonstrating strong service-oriented approach, taking full ownership of service management in multi-partner setups is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational efficiency in cutting-edge portfolios comprising 4 large Big Data clusters from Hadoop & Cloudera, IBM's Enterprise data warehouse and new-age tools HBase, Hive, Apache, Kafka and Spark.
  • Ensure adherence to 10 critical IT SLAs while processing 10+ trillion Customer Data Records (CDRs) daily leading to 100+ Business, regulatory and KPIs.
  • Manage a team of approx 75 resources. Drive multi-partner governance to drive service improvements.
  • Drive excellence initiatives through automations to bring in operational efficiency and leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), etc technologies.
