Job Title: Executive - Imports

Our organization is seeking an Executive - Imports professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with Customs Brokers and other functions to streamline cross-border operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Customs Brokers and other functions to ensure seamless cross-border operations.
  • Work closely with C&F Agents to facilitate smooth delivery.
  • Perform vessel/airline inquiries and track shipments effectively.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of import documentation procedures related to air and sea freight.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Bill of Lading requirements.
  • Analyze customs tariffs and custom notifications to ensure compliance.
  • Demonstrate excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Stay updated on shipment policies, insurance, and regulations.
  • Assist in carrier selection, focusing on cost control and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate daily communication with carriers, including articulating booking instructions as needed.
  • Investigate, negotiate, and process transportation-related claims.
  • Cooperate with clients and staff to achieve common goals.
