Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of a legal team, encompassing compliance management, contract administration, and intellectual property rights (IPR) governance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Management: Maintain, monitor, and analyze statutory and regulatory compliance levels across all group hospitals. Assist in developing, updating, and communicating compliance policies and procedures to stakeholders.
  • Contract Administration: Drafting, vetting, and negotiating commercial agreements, Master Services Agreements, Service Agreement, Statement of Work, Change Requests, NDA, and other documents.
  • Intellectual Property Rights Governance: Manage the IPR portfolio of the Group Companies, monitor violations of the Company's Intellectual Property, apply for new Trademarks and Patents, respond to regulatory notices and communications regarding IP.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Litigation Management: Drafting and vetting notices, pleadings, and submissions for medico-legal and commercial litigation. Maintaining a tracker of all litigations, analyzing and reporting trends and insights for litigation prevention.
  • Real Estate Management: Assisting maintaining the real estate profile of the Group Companies, conducting title due diligence on proposed real estate acquisitions, maintaining trackers, and ensuring timely renewals of leases.
  • Support Functions: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality control, and safety, to address compliance concerns; assisting in due diligence and M&A activities; active assistance in company secretarial activities; liaising with required stakeholders and external counsel for various legal activities.
