Job Title: Therapeutic Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Care Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. This role involves providing occupational therapy sessions in the comfort of clients' homes, where you will work closely with children and their families to achieve personalized goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one occupational therapy sessions that cater to each client's unique needs and abilities.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of improvement and develop targeted therapy plans.
  • Create engaging activities that promote motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills, tailored to each child's developmental stage.
  • Maintain accurate session records and provide regular progress updates to our team.
  • Collaborate effectively with other professionals involved in the child's care, ensuring a holistic approach to their well-being.
  • Communicate empathetically with families, empowering them to implement therapy strategies at home and support their child's growth.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy (AIOTA certification is a must).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children with disabilities, although this is not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and colleagues.
  • Comfortable working independently in home environments, with a flexible approach to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
