Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • 3D Laser Scanning & Walkthroughs:">
    • ">
    • Perform handheld and tripod-mounted scans to ensure correct start/stop, device orientation, overlap, and steady movement.">
    ">
  • Drone (UAV) Surveys:">
    • ">
    • Plan and execute aerial LiDAR/photogrammetry surveys, including flight path planning, overlap checks, and compliance with permissions/safety rules.">
    ">
  • 360 Video & Photogrammetry:">
    • ">
    • Capture high-resolution images and videos for visual context and photogrammetry with consistency and accuracy.">
    ">
  • Control Points & GNSS/RTK Work:">
    • ">
    • Establish control points, record targets, log vertical/horizontal datum, and ensure proper site referencing.">
    ">
  • Manual Site Measurements:">
    • ">
    • Record site-specific measurements (heights, clearances, PQC thickness, offsets, etc.) and maintain proper documentation.">
    ">
  • Feature Capture & Tagging:">
    • ">
    • Identify special site features (utilities, obstructions, vegetation, pipelines) and geo-tag them accurately.">
    ">
  • QA & Data Management:">
    • ">
    • Perform immediate checks of collected data (point clouds, imagery, video) to confirm completeness before leaving site. Ensure backups, metadata management (naming conventions, device logs, timestamps, operator details) and organized dataset handover.">
    ">
  • Troubleshooting & Device Care:">
    • ">
    • Conduct pre-scan device checks, routine calibrations, battery management, and troubleshoot equipment as needed.">
    ">
  • Client Coordination & Site Logistics:">
    • ">
    • Liaise with site SPOCs, obtain required permissions, ensure minimal disruption, and promptly escalate site access issues.">
    ">
  • Safety & Compliance:">
    • ">
    • Follow strict safety protocols, wear PPE, and comply with drone/local aviation regulations.">
